Who’da Thought? Lady Gaga Can Still Shock Us In 4 Outfit Changes

Remember that scene in Anchorman where Ron Burgundy/Will Ferrell's dog, Baxter, barks to the hapless star that he ate a whole wheel of cheese? Burgundy responds, "How'd you do that? That's actually...I'm not even mad. That's amazing."
It's that kind of bewildered admiration we are faced with this morning in looking over the four intensive, statement, headline-making outfits that Lady Gaga wore to this season's Philip Treacy show. Gaga, who is great friends with the milliner, helped fete his first runway show in 12 years, and while she wasn't the only A-lister there (Anna Dello Russo, Grace Jones, and Kristen McMenamy, to name a few), she certainly made the most head-turning decisions — and around that crowd, that's saying quite a bit.

She Wears A Floral Helmet

Somehow, Lady Gaga both manages to open the show and sit front row (an impressive feat), while also wearing different entering and exiting looks, which leads us to believe: Lady Gaga might be magical. Or, she has several body doubles. Either way, check out the ways she still manages to surprise us...

Surprisingly, this is not her first face-obscuring Treacy helmet.

She also proclaims Philip Treacy as the "greatest milliner in the world" in a very dramatic voice.

The night's soundtrack was courtesy of the King of Pop, and Gaga sent up her own tribute with a one-gloved appearance. And a Mickey Mouse hat. Obviously.

Animal-rights activists have not been happy about Lady Gaga's recently opposite stance on fur, where she suddenly has started wearing animals after being staunchly opposed to the practice. According to Fashion Indie, she said:

“I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, ‘kermit’ and not to mention meat, that I have already worn. This should already put me in a category as one who appreciates and adores the beauty of animals in fashion, but am not a strict vegan. I have truly always stayed away from skinned fur, especially as I have never been able to afford a nice one, but this does not mean my morals are rigid and that I won’t bend at the sight of an absolute art piece of a coat. I have no chains about this.”

Her PETA support may suddenly dry up, but while animal-rights activists can be upset about the apparent foxtails, eagle-eyed readers might spot the glittery curse word on her clutch. We won't type it here, but it definitely rhymes with "blunt."
