Study Up With Jewelry Line Lady Grey

When it comes to fashion, the only math we ever think about is how much that price tag is going to eat into our rent money. One of our fave under-the-radar jewelry lines,
Lady Grey
, is asking us to dig back to our grade school days with its fall '10 collection, "Sacred Geometry," which explores Brooklyn designers Jill Martinelli and Sabine Le Guyader's love of all things geometric. With inspirations ranging from Mexico's Naica Cave of Crystals to Johannes Kepler's Mysterium Cosmographicum, the girls appropriate naturally occurring patterns for some seriously iconic and slightly sinister gems. We're totally feeling the bronze cubic pendants lined with crushed pyrite and we'd never take off the crystal grown rings—we can see why both Zoë Kravitz and Rihanna live in the pieces. It's not exactly cushion-cut diamonds from Tiffany's, and that's ok with us—though we're still not super handy with that protractor.
