Partying for a cause — that's what we like to do here at Refinery29. LIFT Investments, and excuse our business jargon for a hot sec, is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping promising small and medium-sized enterprises grow and create job opportunities and job training for people in poverty in low-income countries. And next Thursday, April 12, they're throwing a hot cocktail party to support their amazing work — and you are all invited. With our fave New York girl-about-town, Hannah Bronfman spinning tunes, famed photog company Patrick McMullan snapping the night away, as well as yummy drinks to sip while you check out gallery nine5's awesome art, it's pretty much a no brainer. Plus, to help raise money for LIFT Investment's projects, there will be a silent auction of some seriously covetable goodies, like a bag by Michael Kors, two orchestra tickets to Porgie and Bess on Broadway, clothes from NYC's hottest designers, and a two night stay at Affinia 50. Rumor is tickets are selling out fast, so we suggest you hurry and get one here while you still can.
