The first looks are in from L.A.-based Herve Leger's spring 2011 show and—shocker—there were plenty of pretty sexy bandage dresses from Max and Lubov Azria. Instead of the classic body-con silhouettes though, there was a departure with corsetry, voluminous skirts, and little bits of lace peeping through. The lingerie effect was taken to even more literal heights with garters and Spanx-like bottoms. Certainly, some of the metallic and blush colored frocks will be red carpet hits, but the frilly skirts and flesh colored Granny panties were misses. (WWD)
