Buy ’60s Carven, Hermes, Chanel And More One-Of-A-Kind Pieces At This Private Brooklyn Shopping Party

Take a time machine back 50 years and imagine getting insider access to one of the '60s most iconic model's closets, chock-full of the era's covetable designer wares. Okay, quit day-dreaming—this fantasy can actually come true tomorrow night! One of our favorite places to browse on earth, Brooklyn store Mafalda, is having an intime, private shopping event to celebrate the arrival of the personal wardrobe of a '60s style icon (shhh....we can't tell you who!), with over 100 one-of-a-kind choice vintage pieces, including offerings from Roger Vivier, Mary Quant, Chanel, Christian Dior, Carven (!), Hermès, and tons more. Hosted by our own EIC, Christene Barberich, and Mafalda owner Christina Kolbe, this exclusive cocktail party will guarantee you a chance to score a "where did you find that?" spring wardrobe.

Wednesday March 30, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., 360 Atlantic Avenue (between Hoyt and Bond streets); 347-987-3470; a portion of the night's proceeds will benefit the Red Cross to support Japan relief.
