Maggie Ha, Creative Consultant
After leaving her job as creative director of Beachmint, Maggie intended to take some time off to focus on her own work. However, as she took on projects for friends, her list of clients grew and grew, and “time off” ended up turning into a full-time gig. Now this Angelino lives in New York helping fashion and tech startups brand themselves (think of her as a life coach for a company getting off the ground). Citing Debbie Harry, Kate Moss, and Audrey Hepburn as her “Working Girl Inspiration,” we bet being trademarked by Maggie is a pretty sweet break.

What skill or habit do you think is vital for success?
“It’s not exactly a skill or habit, but I think in order to succeed you need to have passion. For some people it simply means hard work and dedication, but for me it’s more than that — it’s about heart.”
