Those pretty, patterned, perfectly shaped, pointed, Manolo-made pumps that we saw at last season's J.Crew presentation were a dream to see during Fashion Week… And unfortunately, they'll always just be a dream, because the collaboration ain't happening. Jenna Lyons revealed that the shoes were custom Manolos and hinted at an upcoming collaboration, but when Manolo was asked to comment, he had no idea it was taking place. Apparently, the whole thing was a one-off delivery and won't ever see the light of day. Said Manolo Blahnik president George Malkemus, "We were looking forward to the potential collaboration between our two brands, we both came to the conclusion that fall wasn’t the right time.
