A trip to Oakland’s dreamy, up-and-coming Temescal Alley just isn't complete without popping into Ali Golden and Marisa Haskell. We almost never walk out empty handed, and this is in no small part due to the creative, cutting-edge designs the local ladies craft on the reg. Golden’s airy silhouettes and Haskell’s striking baubles (she even nabbed a spot as one of our top jewelry designers in the Bay) were basically made to sport together. We so get why the shops are next-door neighbors.
Well, the two are packing up and leaving the alley for a day! The duo will hole up at another R29 fave, Reliquary (peep owner Leah Bershad’s covetable closet here), this Friday to give S.F. shoppers a first-hand buying experience. What goes down at this can’t-miss shopping soirée? Well, aside from plenty of flowing wine, the two designers will boast new items, such as Golden's new and totally sweet carryalls. We're adding this to our Friday night agenda, stat. We suggest you do the same!
When: Friday, June 15, 5 p.m.
Where: Reliquary, 37 Octavia Street (between Ivy and Grove streets); 415-431-4000.
