Found: The Naked Palette You Can Actually Afford

Sure, trying to talk up a nude palette as being different from all of the hundreds out there is kind of like selling sand at the beach — especially when you've got the Naked palette pretty much holding down that corner of the market. But, finding a nude palette that works well and is priced under $10 is pretty unheard of, right?
Enter Maybelline's The Nudes palette. Now, I'm partial to the Naked palette, but after getting my hands on The Nudes, I was instantly smitten. And, after playing around with it for several hours (no shame), I can safely tell you that not only are all 12 shades wearable, but they're also really pretty. Plus, they're versatile.

While the taupes and browns are great for everyday wear (and for touching up your brows on-the-go), the true winners are the shimmering metallics. There's a bronze and a gold, and paired together, they create a moody smoky eye that's pretty clutch for fall. Just swipe the bronze across your lids to the crease, and then accent the inner corners of your eyes and your browbone with the gold. You can even add a touch of the black across your lashline for some extra definition.
If you absolutely need a nude palette for fall (and, trust me, you do), this is the way to go. And, for this price, you can stock up on multiples for when you inevitably get down to the bottom of the pan. In fact, The Nudes palette is one that will be kept in constant rotation in my bag all year. It's not every day you find a product you can rely on like that.
Maybelline The Nudes Palette, $9.99, available at Ulta.
