We don't normally take our cues from ZZ Top, but we have to say it—we're crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man. Well, dudes, New York is about to become a little classier now that CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist (fingers crossed!) Carlos Campos is coming to town. We've been friends with CC since his first NYC presentation, so call us very, very proud that the Honduran designer has set up shop in the Lower East Side—his first store in the US—and the interior design at his 600-square-foot Orchard Street digs as chic and structured as his muy tailored suits. Featuring an intricate, geometric wooden display structure that grows and shrinks based on the displayed item, shoppers are treated to an experience similar to buying the art straight off the walls of a museum. The focus, of course, remains on the clothing—crisp button down shirts, fitted pants, classic jackets and more are all there to tempt you into looking like, well, the sharpest dressed man in the city. Complaints? None.
Carlos Campos, 75 Orchard Street (between Grand and Broome streets); 212-244-1942.
