And when we brandish our plastic and pull out our bills, we do it with finesse: We're home to some of the best stores in the nation, after all. With constant influx of tourists and the fact that, hey, you can never have too many bathing suits, the 305 always makes room for edited and refined shops that buck the big box trends, be they emerging, luxury, or somewhere in between.

How about some even better news? While the year isn't even half-way over, some crucial locals have already made their grand entrance in the 305. So for any Dade dwellers who want to try something new, we've rounding up the list of new, chain-less boutiques that are sprouting all over town, plus the in-demand doors that'll soon open. Brazilian transplant Alessandra Gold knows Miami loves to splurge and score deals at the same time, which is exactly why her boutique is one of our favorites. Filled with an assortment of high and low labels, the Midtown shop makes it easy to do guilt-free shopping. There’s Lauren Guillot jewelry, vintage eyewear, edgy favorite Tripp NYC, and Adjani Muller picks... as well as Gold’s KruZin kicks and her eponymous collection of stilettos. Items start at $20 and will go up to $600.

Reconcile a love for chic labels with a passion for deals with this new branch of Consign of the Times. After years of being on South Beach, owner Carin Kirby has expanded her couture consignment shop with a second outpost in the city of South Miami. "It’s like shopping at Neiman Marcus for purses and shoes here, but without paying double the price," said Kirby. Brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Hermès, and Louboutin line the store, so expect numerous squeals of delight. But, don’t come looking for vintage. Her stuff is as a good as new. Items start at $50 for a Lauren Merkin purse. (Yes, you heard that right. We told you it was a killer find!)

The denim company officially opens its doors in Aventura Mall on April 21st, and we're beyond ecstatic to be one of cities who gets a brick and mortar location. Obviously Joe's is major for denim, but the ready-to-wear tees, tanks, and shorts make this a major deal for Miamians. As for the grand opening celebrations, we hear it's an all day affair with a DJ spinning and special sales. Let the party begin!

This is one shop for those well-heeled guys who want to score some original threads and accessories. Hidden inside Miami Beach’s Mark's Cleaners, the itty-bitty boutique sells its own label called Noble Experiment. Your man will find fitted button-downs, suits, coats, ties, and cuff links, all handpicked for the most discerning of dudes. Co-owner Ashley Leimer said they opened a second store (the first is in Wynwood) due to the demand. "People want custom shirts and suits," he says. While the store is predominantly for the dudes, women can get some custom evening attire made, too. Items start at $180 up to $3500.

Imagine a denim shop where you walk in and they know exactly what pair of jeans is going to fit you before you even open your mouth. No, this isn't some futuristic fantasy, it's Tupelo Honey. After about 15 years of being at The Falls Shopping Center, owner Gail Blum said adios to the mall and opened her doors in a South Miami location. "I was ready for a change and a lot of our customers were from South Miami, Coconut Grove, and Coral Gables already, so moving closer to them was the right choice," said Blum. Aside from jeans like J Brand and AG, she also carries tops from James Perse, Hard Tail, Frank & Eileen, and Feel The Piece. Items start at $40.
