Sure, any block party will undoubtedly bring on a good time, but a bash on one of our favorite streets full of enticing eateries automatically takes the fun factor up a few notches. That’s right folks, the third-annual 18th Street Block Party is back! And we can’t think of a better place to show up hungry, as favorites Namu, Bi-Rite Creamery, Kasa, and more, will be there serving up the dishes known to make the spots so crave-worthy.
So, not only can we grub on the yummy bites — from short-rib tacos to Kati rolls — but we can support awesome causes while doing it, as funds benefit six different local organizations. Can this event get any sweeter than this? Turns out ... yes! The party’s kicker is a mouth-watering pie (and you know we love us some pie) contest that will be judged on originality, appearance, crust, and of course, taste. If you’re drooling on your keyboard already, then grab your stretchiest pants and get the deets below!
When: Saturday, September 29, noon to 6 p.m.
Where: 18th Street (between Dolores and Guerrero streets).
Cost: $20, buy tickets here!
