Girl crush time. We get seriously excited whenever one of our favorite designers comes out with a new collection or campaign, but when two of our most-obsessed-over ladies get together? It's just about too much for our little hearts to handle. So consider us geeking out: Tank magazine's publisher and fashion director, Caroline Issa, is the face of Monique Péan's Sut'ana campaign, and we cannot think of a better pairing.
And, it looks like Monique Péan is as smitten with Caroline as we are. The jeweler spoke highly of the whimsical editor, saying, "Caroline is extremely intelligent, beautiful, and stylish. She was the first person who came to my mind when I was thinking about the perfect muse for the collection. I’m consistently inspired by her point of view at Tank and she’s a global citizen with a culturally diverse background that reflects the way that I try to incorporate distinct materials, craftsmanship, and philosophies from an array of locations and communities from around the world."

We think Issa's one-of-a-kind looks are beautiful match to Péan's equally eye-catching (and eco-friendly!) pieces. All of Péan's work —including the stunners in the Sut'ana campaign — are handmade in NYC, and sourced globally with local communities and artisans. In a time when it seems like everyone has the same statement necklace from Zara or pair of H&M earrings, the element of individuality that Péan brings is truly a breath of fresh air... and so is Caroline!
