'Ello 'ello! Here's a spot of British cheer on a snowy day: Mulberry is planning to open its first US flagship store, and naturally the UK brand has chosen the Big Apple to house the new digs. Though the new boutique, to open in the summer at 134 Spring Street (between Greene and Wooster streets), will be the third Mulberry in NYC, the Soho space will echo the in-store concept of their New Bond Street location (aka bigger and better). The announcement follows news that the company has seen US demand grow at a record rate—both the Madison Avenue and Bleecker street stores had sales increase by 102% in a six-month period. And if you don't have an Alexa yet, here's a potential chance to score a permanent discount: Mulberry has created a new position, US Head of Press and Marketing, for which they are currently hiring.
