Uh Oh: Naomi Campbell Set To Become Chat Show Host, Fear For Her Guests

Rumors that Naomi Campbell has scored her own talk show are gathering momentum — and we’re prematurely fearful for the guests that share her couch. "I can confirm that there are offers on the table", Naomi's representative told Vogue on Tuesday. "But I can't elaborate further at this time due to ongoing negotiations."
The 43-year-old supermodel has had airtime a-plenty of late thanks to her campaign for more diversity on the catwalk, and her reality TV show The Face, which has been renewed for a second season.

Reports are circulating that Naomi has impressed TV big shots so much that they want to give her a dedicated show on an unidentified major U.S. network. "Naomi is a supermodel first and foremost, but she's becoming much more comfortable on TV now and really finding her voice," a "source" told
The Daily Mail
. "She's a perfectionist and if she does give TV a go she'd give Oprah a run for her money!"

On this point we disagree. While Oprah built her empire-with-the-GDP-of-a-small-nation on an intimate and emotional interviewing style, we struggle to imagine Naomi taking the same tack—after all, the model’s rep is nothing if not fierce. But we’re pretty sure that Naomi would dish up a highly entertaining show, and her turbulent past means she’d be well qualified to talk on a whole heap of subjects. Plus we’d give anything to see her grilling LiLo and the like—peppered with the odd screaming fit, naturally.
