2 More New Stores For The DMV’s Hands-On Shoppers

The DMV is steadily becoming a legit mecca for brick-and-mortar shoppers, and the tide isn't turning anytime soon. Today, a brand new H&M opened in Union Station — finally, a downtown alternative to the jam-packed Metro Center location and the picked-over Georgetown outpost. (Granted, the also-new Chevy Chase Pavilion store is pretty sweet, but it's a bit of a trek for a quick impulse-buying trip.) We're hoping that a fresh, fashion-forward retail anchor in Union Station will attract some of our other favorite brands to the location, so we can spend our pre-departure wait time doing something other than sampling lotions at The Body Shop.
And next month, you can stop lamenting how hard it is to get to Tysons Corner if you don't have a car — because C. Wonder is opening a second Virginia location at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. That's right: You'll be able to hop on the metro and access the affordable luxury haven in no time, without ever having to worry about traffic. We're not gonna lie — we're pretty excited about the planned October opening. So excited, in fact, that our wallets are trembling.
