If you told us you were going to take over 20 of New York's top chefs and put them in one building to serve us little bits of their culinary genius, we'd drop everything and get there quicker than you can say food smörgåsbord. Fortunately, this is actually happening(!!), but unfortunately, we're gonna have to hold out until Thursday when the New York Times' Taste of T officially opens at 6 p.m. Held in the Architects and Designers Building, the event will provide delicious creations from golden spatulas like Alex Guarnaschelli of Butter, David Carmichael of Gilt, and Dan Silverman of The Standard Grill, to name a few. And at $85, tickets are a lot less than a full meal at any one of these great New York hot spots. Plus, walking from booth to booth is a lot easier than booking a table months in advance.
When: Thursday, November 3, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Taste of T, 150 East 58th Street (between 3rd and Lexington avenues); 212-644-2766.
