Remember when No Doubt's wardrobe consisted almost entirely of sweaty crop tops and plaid suits galore? Well, the newly reunited band is all grown up now, and so is their style (good riddance, fedoras!). British sportswear brand Fred Perry has taken note and recruited the ska-punk favorite for a refined capsule collection.
The collection features a slim-fit polo, v-neck sweater, and bomber jacket— all of which subtly incorporate No Doubt's persistent red, gold, and green color palette. Uniting the famed laurel wreath with the widely-worshipped zeitgeist group seems to make sense. While Gwen Stefani honed her design chops long ago with her own label, L.A.M.B, the band's new album Push and Shove is in need of some good publicity. What's your stance on this collab? Hella Good or not so much? Reasoning aside, our teenage selves are squealing right now. (Elle.com)
