If you watch The Biggest Loser, you know obesity is a major American problem. Hell, they've even come out with Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. Jillian Michaels and Michelle Obama want you to lose weight, and apparently so does NYC. The Big Apple, which already bans trans-fat and makes chain restos post calorie counts, is rolling out (pardon the pun) an "anti-obesity building," dedicated to keeping its occupants in shape. The residences, called "The Melody," will be open for slimming this summer in the Bronx, with features like indoor and outdoor working-out areas, a very slow elevator to motivate stair climbing, plus encouraging, muy cheesy signs that stay stuff like "A person’s health can be judged by which they take two of at a time, pills or stairs.” Can we do both?
