Got Plans Saturday? We’ve Got Your Free Weekend Lineup

1
When we first moved to NYC, we made a checklist of everything we were going to do. High on said list was visiting some of the awesome museums our area has to offer, but, sadly, we’re ashamed to admit that we haven’t even begun to check off all these art meccas. The high ticket cost to get a dose of culture always seems to take a backseat to shoes, shoes, and more shoes.

However, we are now officially out of excuses — this Saturday is Museum Day Live, which means that institutions around the city will be letting New Yorkers in for free. All you have to do is print a ticket and badda-bing, you’re ready to go. (Don’t even try using the “my printer is out of ink” excuse.) We’re hoping to hit up the Brooklyn Museum,
International Center of Photography, or the New York Historical Society, to name a few. Just make sure to wear comfortable kicks — these spots are anything but stiletto friendly.

When: Saturday, September 29.
Where: See list of participating museums for details.
