Anyone else suffering from post-Olympics withdrawal? From those maudlin profiles that test our tear ducts (P&G mom ads, anyone?) and the heart-stopping final seconds of each so-closer race to the eruption of applause each time a gymnast landed a perfect dismount, we're sorely missing the thrill of it all.
Well, leave it to our favorite boutique, Opening Ceremony, to see into our hearts and try and remedy the situation. Okay, that might be a bit melodramatic, but you see where we're coming from. The brand is bridging the gap between the games' closing ceremony and the commencement of the fashion games — a.k.a. NYFW, and the month that follows — brilliantly, with a print pub.

Opening Ceremony chose "sports" as the theme for its inaugural, limited-edition magazine, OC ANNUAL. With creative directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim presiding over the creative direction of the mag, you can bet the print content is every bit as imaginative as the carefully curated contents of each boutique.
The issue features the image-making magic of photog legends Bruce Weber and Poppy de Villeneuve, athletes including Olympic gymnast Alicia Sacramone and volleyball player Gabrielle Reece, along with supermodels Carol Alt and Pat Cleveland. It's also packed with content that ranges from one artist's neurotic obsession with basketball to profile pieces on Sports Illustrated editor Terry McDonell and gym bunny, Norma Kamali.
And lest you're over the whole carrying-a-mag-with-you thing, the pub is also available as an iPad app that includes exclusive film shots and custom, interactive games. Head on over to the web site to purchase your copy for $25, and to get a sneak peek inside the issue.
