Opening Ceremony Helps The Brooklyn Museum Throw A Carnival Party

The Brooklyn Museum is celebrating their new "High Style" exhibition with a bit of help from ringleaders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim of
Opening Ceremony
. For their Thursday night hoopla, the OC kids have tapped six designers—Band of Outsiders, Philip Crangi, Patrick Ervell, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Rodarte and Slow and Steady Wins the Race—to create individual carnival-like experiences, where museum-goers can toss a ring, get their palms read, or spin a wheel of fortune while snagging freebie souvenirs from the brands. The duo were inspired by food artist Jennifer Rubell, whose contribution is a room-sized giant Andy Warhol pinata filled desserts and party favors. Food, favors, and fun?
