Good jeans are hard to find. Denim companies like to boast about their total customer loyalty, but only you know the exact fit and fade you need from your everyday pants.
But all that could be changing thanks to NYC-based label Parke. The new, denim brain-child brand (helmed by Solomon Liou) is not only made right here in the Big Apple, but it comes jam-packed with big innovation, too. The fabric boasts "a uniquely patented, bi-directional stretch" — you know, for all of those lunges and leaps you find yourself in running to catch the L-train. These pants certainly have the modern technology down, but they're made with a classic eye on quality, too. In fact, Parke denim is made on antique shuttle looms to create a "selvedge" fabric, a premium cut of cloth that can be found on less than 1% of jeans today. Now that's a 1% we can actually get into — literally!
