We were expecting some serious blood and gore when Patrik Rzepski named Argento's classic horror film Suspiria as the inspiration for his spring collection. Slashed leotards and witch-wear? Razor-wire? Prevalent iris prints? Rzepski, fortunately, is better at spinning surrealist slasher inspiration into sartorial gold; The collection's dramatic pieces skew romantic, with tiered semi-ruffled panels, loose mesh pants, and dresses that off-duty witches might consider wearing to a gallery opening. The only overtly scary piece in the bunch is a sleeveless top with a cascade of chains down the front—but pair those with sheer black stockings and a sweet skirt and you've got the makings of your very own art-house thriller.
