Where do you like to shop in L.A.? I love to shop mostly in small boutiques. My favorites are Moonbeams, Diavolina, American Rag, and The Way We Wore.
Is there a particular era that inspires you? I have an emotional attachment to the '20s and '30s. I think that was a defining moment in fashion for women. It gave them a lot of freedom and was also the beginning of androgynous fashion. At that time, women were always chic and put together. They embraced their curves and the female silhouette inspired designers.
What is on your summer agenda? I just want to be relaxed. I am usually always running around and I want to take the summer as a time to enjoy each day as it comes. I'm looking forward to having dinner parties and all types of gatherings at my house. I am having N.Y. withdrawal though. What do you think will be the soundtrack for your gatherings? A lot of reggae, the Café Del Mar #7 compilation, which is always a classic. Also some European house mixes I have picked up and John Coltrane just to mix it up with some jazzy sounds.
