The Oscars are only a few short weeks away, so that means the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising is hosting its annual exhibition of major movie costumes once again! Opening today, the Art of Motion Picture Costume Design exhibit promises to wow with its collection from over a dozen of the biggest (costume) films from the last year. That means you'll see pieces from True Grit, The King's Speech, Shutter Island, and The Kids Are All Right (hip mom clothes apparently count as costumes!) Also on display are costumes from last year's Oscar winner for Best Costume, The Young Victoria. The exhibit will run through Saturday, April 30 and admission is free, so get your inspiration on, you won't be able to find this anywhere else! (NBCLA)
