For three days only, the meticulous craftsmen of the luxury leather goods atelier, Entermodal, will be showing off their skills at their pop-up Factory in SoHo. Designer and owner Larry Olmstead is packing up his custom tool set, a century old stitching horse, and a selection of never before released leather options, colors, and linings, and relocating them to Odin boutique, where he and his crew will be working, beginning this Friday. The Portland-based team will be cutting, sewing, and stitching bags and wallets around the clock, allowing onlookers to get a glimpse at all of the techniques, design, and labor that goes into each Entermodal product. They'll be releasing their spring/summer '09 collection exclusively at this event, and in addition, they're happy to emboss any purchase—an amazing, personalized holiday gift.
