Pop-Up Party: The Fashion Crowd Descends on Port Authority for Save Fashion’s Big Launch

Midtown--and the Port Authority bus terminal--is usually the least appealing place in a very appealing city, but the fashion crowd turned out in droves last night when yours truly hosted a big opening bash to celebrate the launch of our month-long pop-up shop. Elise Overland, Boy by Band of Outsiders, and Rachel Comey were just a few of the big names available for grabs by lucky attendees, and everyone knows there's nothing better than boozing with yummy Alizé cocktails while cruising for majorly discounted steals (dresses for $50! a Boy button-down for $75! we were in heaven). Sam Shipley and Jeff Halmos, Steven Alan, Maria Cornejo, Philip Crangi, Rachel Comey, Vena Cava's Lisa Mayock, CFDA Executive Director Steven Kolb, and photog Chadwick Tyler all showed up to mingle under the terminal rafters and amongst the uniformed police officers (never been to a fashion party with police officers about? you're surely missing out). Shaggy-haired band The Young Lords, meanwhile, kept the music going (and the girls swooning). All this and more in the party shots below!
