It’s no secret that us S.F. guys and gals have an obsession with hunting down vintage threads like it’s nobody’s business. And now searching for awesome bygone wares is as easy as Sunday morning (literally), thanks to the aptly named L.A-based vintage retailer Pretty Genius setting up shop at a Mission apartment this Sunday, January 15.
The roving vintage trunk show of sorts, founded by fashion writer Erin Weinger and luxury hotel account manager Renee Shaab, will be filled with period pieces such as silk blouses, leather pencil skirts, and oh-so-pretty cocktail dresses. And, just for us SF'ers, Pretty Genius is slashing prices for its first-ever by-the-Bay sale, with more than half of its pieces — including Calvin Klein, Bill Blass, and the like! — going out the door for as low as $50.
