Rad Or Bad: Should Shaggy Carpet Looks Stay On The Floor?

WWD featured a few shaggy shaggy knits a couple days ago, but we couldn't help but think that the girls looked more Empire-Today-mascot than homespun-honey. Rodarte and Cynthia Steffe made it a point to roll out their yarn on the catwalk this season, and while some looks felt sweet, others looked as if they were made out of bathmats. But are we being rug-aphobic? What's your take on the whole shag-carpet look?
