Still eating haute burgers? So over. This summer, it’s all about pizza joints, thanks to the mozzarella-laced delicacies served up by the likes of Sodo in Clapton. And now, Forza Win, the pizza restaurant that was a mega hit last summer, is back with another secret rooftop location in East London, running Thursday to Saturday, from the end of this month until mid-September. Tickets are £30 a pop and include a drink on arrival, a starter, and then the pizza-slice tasting menu devised by Pizza Pilgrims kicks in — the idea being that by the time you roll home, you’ll have eaten a whole pizza. Dessert and some entertainment cap off the evening, and then assuming you’re not plunged into a carb’n’cheese coma, Forza Win want you to party with them until 3 a.m. The location? It’s a secret, but all will be revealed on booking. Needless to say, this place requires threads that sizzle, and we reckon that Topshop's two-piece banana-leaf print ensemble is just the job.
Clockwise from left: Topshop Banana Leaf Scallop Hem T-Shirt and Shorts, £70, available at Topshop; Prada Cat Eye Sunglasses, £275, available at Net-a-Porter; Asos Gold Cross Earrings, £6, available at Asos; Wild About Beauty Tanwen Nail Polish, £9, available at House of Fraser; Kenzo Print Flat Sandals, £298, available at The Corner.
Tickets are on sale now. Visit the Forza Win site to book your place.
Oblix
Not to be confused with Obelix, the fat guy with plaits in Asterix, Oblix is a restaurant par excellence opened this month by Rainer Becker, the powerhouse behind establishments including Zuma and Roka. Despite the eatery's nod to vintage French cartoonage, the food focuses firmly on New York-inspired grills and rotisserie teamed with epic cocktails — all served up in a sleek dining space. Oh, and we should probably mention the view. Nestled on the 32nd floor of the Shard, you can see the Houses of Parliament and Battersea Power Station from your restaurant table, while the bar space offers a gander at the Tower of London and Thames Barrier. Naturally, such jaw-dropping panorama requires an outfit of equal splendor. Our tip? Leather dungarees and killers heels are the only way to go.

Paramount
Okay, so Centre Point might not be one of the city’s most picturesque buildings, but the views from Paramount, which occupies the building’s uppermost floors, are undeniably spectacular. The smack-bang Tottenham Court Road location affords a totally unique view of the capital that is a tiny bit mesmerising. In an effort to tempt slack-jawed and entranced visitors away from said view, Paramount has taken the concept of ‘high tea’ to a whole new level with an afternoon tea menu that allows diners to take in the panoramic views while chowing down on gourmet sandwiches and pastries. The menu has been devised by Michelin-starred chef Mark Hayes and includes smoked salmon and fromage blanc on rye, egg and cured ham sandwiches, and scones with clotted cream and homemade jam — as well as proper leaf tea. Yep, we’re salivating a little too. And what to wear? We recommend that you keep it ladylike but edge things up with an awesome sweatshirt.
