No expense has been spared in this epic restoration, with decor borrowed from Aristotle Onassis' yacht and the Hotel Bel-Air. There's the 1930s cocktail bar (complete with dapper barman), the elegant oak-floored restaurant with its smattering of Philippe Starck furniture and leather seating created by Aston Martin's upholsterers. Even the ice bucket came from the House of Lords. In keeping with the old-school vibe, there’s a games cupboard filled with quintessentially British pastimes like croquet, badminton, and chess. Davis has even sliced off the roof with a fancy hydraulics system so that on warm sunny days the roof comes off with the flick of a switch.
Fun fact: The last route this bus did in London was up Islington's Rosebery Avenue. Hence the name.
