The Most Awesome Double-Decker Bus Ever? Well, Yes Actually

Stop. Everything. We've discovered a party bus that puts even the Vengabus to shame.
In our humble opinion, the London Routemaster bus is one of the world’s most iconic, elegant and frankly awesome pieces of design. Once used to transport millions of Londoners across town, it's now almost extinct, save the Number 15 tourist route, and the odd private hire ferrying wedding guests around the city.
One thing's for sure: We've never see a restored Routemaster quite like the Rosebery. The 1966 Routemaster has been renovated by former journo Simon Davis, who has created—in his own words— "a private member's club on wheels." He's not lying.

No expense has been spared in this epic restoration, with decor borrowed from Aristotle Onassis' yacht and the Hotel Bel-Air. There's the 1930s cocktail bar (complete with dapper barman), the elegant oak-floored restaurant with its smattering of Philippe Starck furniture and leather seating created by Aston Martin's upholsterers. Even the ice bucket came from the House of Lords. In keeping with the old-school vibe, there’s a games cupboard filled with quintessentially British pastimes like croquet, badminton, and chess. Davis has even sliced off the roof with a fancy hydraulics system so that on warm sunny days the roof comes off with the flick of a switch.
Fun fact: The last route this bus did in London was up Islington's Rosebery Avenue. Hence the name.

The Rosebery is currently travelling between parties around the city and beyond. Fancy hosting your own party bus? The Rosebery seats 22 people upstairs, or can accommodate 40 for a cocktail party, costing a mere £3,000 for the night. Get saving, now!
