To quote hallowed pop icons of yesteryear, Ant 'n' Dec: Let's get ready to rumble jumble. And believe us, this isn't any old jumble sale. On Saturday, The Music Circle, which is part of Annie Lennox's charitable Circle initiative with Oxfam, is hosting its second-ever Rumble in the Jumble charity sale par excellence at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
The swag — which spans everything from secondhand designer garb to L.E. vinyl — has been donated by the likes of Alison Mosshart, Bat For Lashes, Jessie Ware, House of Holland, Daisy Lowe, and, er, Marilyn Manson, while sleb stallholders include Gemma Cairney, Fred Butler, and Lauren Laverne. Plus, there will be a pop-up retro hair salon from Lipstick & Curls, food from Gizzi Erskine, free Smashbox makeovers, and some mighty ping-pong action from the Pongathon crew. Oh, and a full bar including mulled cider!

The sale is in aid of abused women in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in tandem with Oxfam’s Get Together for International Women’s Day on March 8. Entry is just three of your good English pounds — and a bag of your own jumble is essential, with any leftovers being donated to Oxfam.
So bring your jumble, buy some jumble, have a jumble…go, go, go!
Where: Rumble in the Jumble #2, Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, 42-46 Pollard Row, E2 6NB; 12pm until 6pm on Saturday January 26
