Somebody’s getting sheisted! Well, not really. The Ace Hotel’s rainbow-bright soul sister, The Saguaro, recently made its desert debut, and we predict there will be some healthy sibling rivalry afoot, come Coachella time!
A former Holiday Inn, this hotel of a different color is the retro-chic counterpart to the Ace’s earthy indie-ness. And if you’re craving a post-show feast, this is a good go-to, since Iron Chef Jose Garces’ two restos will be ready to fire up modern Mexican small plates, and pour a punch (or three) over at the tequila bar.
So, will Ace be watching wistfully from the kiddie pool while The Saguaro scores the fresh crowds? Only time will tell....
