Salt's Cure is the ultimate restaurant for the discerning omnivore who wants to try out the most buzzed-about local spot. The WeHo eatery is getting plenty of accolades from every critic and diner in L.A., and for good reason: This place doesn't seem to disappoint, and the atmosphere is as friendly as the food is delicious. The chef-owners, Zak Walters and Chris Phelps, trained at L.A.'s best (Hungry Cat, Cube, and Canelé), and their commitment to the freshest produce and meat from local ranchers, farmers, and purveyors is evident in each dish. For the carnivore, we recommend the charcuterie, smoked fish, and bacon cheeseburger—everything is cured in-house, and the bread, crackers, and even pickles are handmade at this foodie haven. And, if you're trying to steer clear of the animal stuff, you can always fill up on a hearty mushroom soup, a delicate butter lettuce salad, and some of the yummiest grilled cauliflower we've ever eaten. On top of all of the good eats, the vibe is so lively and the pretty-people-watching is so good, you'll want to drop everything to make a rez right this moment. Just make sure you rock a super-sweet dark floral frock, some classic lace-up wedges, and a great oversized, clutch so you'll be perfectly dressed for this equally perfect L.A. meal.
