Get Stoned For A Good Cause (Y’Know, If That’s Your Thing)

Not that we'd condone an illegal activity (regardless of how fun it was in college), but this bit of news warms the cockles of our hearts. Proving that not even our local drug trade is immune to Hurricane Sandy's effects, a Brooklyn weed dealer has reportedly donated half of the sticky-icky proceeds from his sales to relief efforts.
The understandably anonymous herb merchant told The Huffington Post, "Look, there are probably some people down there [in the Rockaways] who want some marijuana — but that’s not going to clothe and feed them. So, in order for me to help, I needed to turn what I do into something concrete that I could give to them.”
Indeed, we should all take a lesson from this commendable entrepreneur (who's also helping out by donating his time to bailing out houses in affected areas) and do whatever we can to help our neighbors. And, no, we don't have his number. (Huffington Post via Animal)
