Beer lovers, rejoice! The time has come to snatch up tickets to Savor — the District's best weekend party for all things hops- and malt-related. This year's festival goes down on June 8 and 9, and will feature a staggering 74 (yes, 74!) breweries.
The exec chef of San Francisco's The Monk's Kettle is in charge of beer and food pairings for the event, so expect plenty of small plates to cure your drunk munchies and keep you fueled for hours of suds-chugging fun. A ticket will set you back $120, but it provides access to samples of each tasty ale, as well as snacks, meet-and-greets with the brewers, and tasting lessons to help you impress your next round of dinner guests. And, each festival-goer will snag a free souvenir bottle of Terra Incognita, the brew crafted by Sierra Nevada just for the event.
Tix go on sale via Ticketmaster tomorrow at noon and have sold out super-fast in the past, so we suggest you hop to it. We'd hate for you to miss out and spend the weekend crying into a plastic cup of Natty Boh.
