Serendipity Opens In Miami — With Boozy Frrrozen Hot Chocolate!

We blame that damn movie Serendipity for our unhealthy attachment to the namesake ice cream parlor. Since we first saw it, every trip to New York has consisted of at least one visit to Serendipity 3, for the famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate. Well, now we’re in trouble because the decadent deliciousness has moved down south, opening on South Beach.
Joining other NYC transplants like Shake Shack and Rosa Mexicano, Serendipity opened up shop on Lincoln Road last week. Fans can expect to find signature treats like the Opulence Sundae ($1,000), which is made with real gold leaves. However, unlike its northern counterpart, this SoBe shop serves boozy Frrrozen Hot Chocolates. Yep, that’s right, you can pick one of three alcohol-infused additions like the Black Nijiniski (made with vodka and Kahlua), to go into your dessert. There’s also a food menu and a fully stocked bar, in case a little bit of spiked cocoa and fond memories of the rom com aren't enough for you.
