While spring fever has been making the rounds here in S.F., we'll credit the Oakland-based designer, Jen Jennings of Serial Cultura, for snapping us out of our warm-weathered haze (temporarily, at least!) and reminding us why we adore our cool, gray city of love. More specifically, it's this short campaign video featuring Jennings' dreamy collection of threads for fall ’13 that has us looking past spring pastels and whisper-thin fabrics — straight to the inky and space-dyed knits of autumn.
Too soon, you say? Speak for yourself, because after catching a glimpse of Serial Cultura’s fall lineup in this sun-dappled fashion flick, we've been wooed back into darker shades and feminine layers galore. The long-haired maven looks effortlessly tailored and romantic all at once, traipsing along an industrial-looking space and wearing gorgeous pieces in olive, indigo, and aubergine prints. It's a perfect line-up for what we know best: The clear, crisp days by the Bay.
