The production begins with the a title card saying, "This is not a commercial / This is not a single / This is not a cry for help." Make of that what you will.

Sky Ferreira is ending the year with a new collaboration with lo-fi pop impresario Ariel Pink. "My Molly" was originally a Pink track, but here, it's been re-recorded and produced by frequent Ferreira collaborator Justin Raisen. The new version features an industrial-leaning beat sung by the newly black-haired alt pop songstress.
