So you mighta heard this story before but... we figured it was ok to tell it again. Back in '64 Helmut Newton was set to shoot the new Courreges collection exclusively for Queen Magazine. Lil' bit of a conflict of interest though, as he was tied to Vogue. Alas, Newton got the boot... temporarily. When Francine Crescent took charge of the masthead, Newton was back in their good graces. Thank "Gott" for that. Witness the shots he took during her editorial reign, currently on display at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. 44 years later they're still a little bit kinky. (Hint)
