With the holiday season just a few weeks away, we're pressed to find a dress that practically has a social life all its own. You know, something that can't possibly stay in on a Saturday night and can easily brighten up a room—or a basic T or pair of jeans—upon entrance.

No question, a fresh explosion of sequins is the answer. True, a bold move, but aren't you always looking for excuses to over do it from time to time? We know we are, which is why we were instantly transfixed with Hervé Léger's bondage dress, which oozes glitter, the bedazzled T-shirt by Proenza Schouler, and Les Chiffoniers leggings, which, if you've been keeping track, are a clear obsession of ours. But if you're trying to play it safe (and still don't want to be a bore), try embellishing with Phillip Lim's shimmery bib or TopShop's sweet beret to top off any outfit. Whichever way you choose to shine, these looks will make sure you'll be invited back again and again.
