Spec-tacular: Freeway Glasses Will Be Popping Up At Gap’s 1969 Shop

The Gap is undergoing a rad revamp, and after checking out their awesome new fall collection, we’ll definitely be high-tailing it to Robertson Boulevard's 1969 shop to check out the season’s hottest super-skinny pants, cool cropped coats, and fur-trimmed anoraks that we’ll be wearing all fall long. But if you need another reason to hit up the mass brand’s 1969 concept store in WeHo, check this out: Our favorite local sunglass line, Freeway Eyewear, will now be sold at The Gap’s Robertson outpost. We’ve waxed poetic about our love for Freeway specs before—designer Alex Israel’s reasonably-priced and gorgeous glasses—so, it’s fitting that Gap has tapped this local visionary to be one of the first third-party brands featured in their 1969 boutique come September.
