5 Pairs Of Jeans You Need This Spring

Whether your jean preference is skinnies, flares, crops, or something else, we’re all united in our love of denim in all its forms. Our wardrobes would be in a sad state of affairs without a few trusty pairs — especially for days when we have "nothing to wear." For spring, we’re sharing our favorite street styles and how to wear them for your day-to-day. Trust us, this is one pants party you'll want to attend.  Flares
Flares have stood out as the overwhelming winner for spring's top trend. Vintage-lovers have long been clued in to the benefits of the long, loose fit. Now, the rest of us are cashing in on the added ankle room (and dramatic poses that come with the territory).

Embellished

We love the idea of embellished jeans for daytime. Choose a pair with just a hint of adornment — like sparse white embroidery or subtle silver crystals — and then dress them down with a kitschy graphic T-shirt or sweater for an unexpected, playful edge.
Frayed Hem
We're seeing a renaissance of long gone denim trends. While flares are an obvious example, the carefully-undone look of frayed hems is seizing the nation with an equal fervor. And, it extends beyond trousers: The raw finish looks just as good on your jean jacket. Snag a few extra points if you go for double-denim, like this savvy street style star. You can take on this trend with a DIY project, or simply shop looks we spotted all over Fashion Week. (We'll take the latter.)
Skirts
Lest we forget, jeans are but one way to let your love for denim shine. Indigo skirts of all lengths and waistlines have been popping up across the street style board, from high-waist midis to more flirty, knee-length styles. We survived a long and very, very cold winter, so we're defending our right to bare legs.

Two-Tone
You run into many choices in your search for perfect denim. While your personal preferences may dictate the fit and crop you fall back on, at the end of the journey, you'll always face the same question: light wash or dark? This oh-so difficult decision is taken out of the equation this spring (high-five emoji!) with two-tone jeans, letting you get the best of both shades.

Wide & Cropped
For the girl who loves the freedom of flares without overdoing it on denim, we've got a solution for you: jeans that open up below the knee and crop above your ankles. This particular style is great for a wide array of denim-lovers — from petites who wants a little more lower-calf breathing room without visiting the tailor to ladies whose shoe game is so strong they want to give their footwear the spotlight it deserves.
