With a string of impressive internships (including Norma Kamali and Proenza Schouler) and two collections already under her belt, designer Ellen Van Dusen is quickly making a name for herself in the fashion industry. Her budding label, Dusen Dusen, manages to make vintage fabrics look wonderfully fresh again, as her flattering cuts are rendered in dizzyingly bold printed dresses, skirts, and bags. The ever-striking patterns conjure up varied fun references, including everything from Native American textiles to '80s acid wash. Her latest collection is currently for sale at Duo, but we'll have to wait until spring '10 to see more. We'll hold our breath.
