We're not gonna lie: Sometimes the best summer cocktail isn't even a mixed drink in a fancy glass, it's an ice-cold PBR in a can (yep, that's how we roll). So, any summer barbecue boasting the budget beer as the drink of choice gets an automatic entry in our iCals. Add Steven Alan to the mix, and there's no way we're missing out on this weekend throwdown.
Coasts will collide this Saturday when the NYC designer hosts a bash at his Hayes Valley shop along with Aussie footwear label Volley. Plenty of booze and groovy tunes will be on tap for the afternoon, and the meat-heavy menu of sausage and shrimp is inspired by the visitors from down under. (Wait, no Awesome Blossom?)

And as if you needed more incentive to hightail it to Hayes Street, Volley will be giving away pairs of its fly kicks! So, bust out your barebeque best, because tomorrow we'll be throwing some shrimp on the barbie and cutting loose, Steven Alan style!
