Running tights with a pocket are standard fare in fitness apparel. And, when you're already geared up with a GPS watch, heart rate monitor, music player, headphones, or even a hydration belt — those extra built-in pouches can come in handy for toting around basic essentials. (Some of us have tried running with our keys in our shoes — don't.)
But, who said pockets were only for your lower half? Right now, people are talking about Lululemon's Stuff Your Bra Tank II: a basic fitness top with sweat-wicking fabric and flat seams, plus added storage around the bust so you can stash your goodies. It's a tank version of the brand's popular (currently sold out) sports bra.

Lululemon isn’t the first brand to add pockets to its sports bras and fitness tops. Objex Sports makes similarly designed bras and tanks, and The North Face’s Stow-N-Go II bra features a center-front pocket for “on-the-go-access” to all of your mid-run treats. The brand notes its bra is best for ladies with an A- or B-cup chest, which makes sense. The rest of us already have enough bouncing happening up there; we don't need to worry about flying lip balms, too.
There are also fitness tops with practical pouches placed somewhere besides the chest, making them a more comfortable pick for busty fit gals. For example, most cycling jerseys are made with three rear pockets along the lower back, and the Oakley Stride Tech Tank has a zippered pocket along the hip.
Of course, no matter where the compartment's located, the key to successful pocket packing is not to stuff it with too-heavy items that will add weight (like your phone) and cause bouncing. And, beware of cramming in too many little items, which can lead to awkward bulging. Still, you can bet we'll be storing all manner of useful things in our cleavage: energy gels, an apartment key, a subway card, $5...and maybe a few fireworks for a Katy Perry-esque ending to our run. Stuffing your bra just got practical.
