AT&T Best of Washington Happy Hour
You've already voted for all your favorite restaurants, shops, and bars, so now it's time to celebrate. Washingtonian mag is kicking off what they call "Best of Washington Season," with a perk-filled happy hour on the rooftop of Donovan House. Sip cocktails while you enjoy one of the greatest views in town, and score discounted tix to their official Best of Washington party, happening in July.
When: Wednesday, May 30, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Donovan House, 1155 14th Street NW; 202-737-1200.

Lou Lou Boutique Shopping Party
Join blogger Kate Julian of Then, Life Gave Me Lemons at this Old Town boutique for treats, laughs, and, of course, shopping. Treats by Erica will be providing dessert while Flying Fish will cover the sushi. You'll also receive a special discount for the night, so there's really no reason not to stop by.
When: Thursday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Taste of Georgetown
Start preparing your stomachs now, because one of the District's best food fairs is celebrating its 19th year this Saturday. Over 30 of Georgetown's tastiest restaurants will be on hand to serve their best menu selections, and there will be wine, craft beers, and live music. We're especially excited about the sweet-tooth offerings from Shut Your Pie Hole, Georgetown Cupcake, and Serendipity 3 — here's hoping that unbelievable ice cream sundae is up for grabs.
When: Saturday, June 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Wisconsin Avenue and M Street NW

Crate & Barrel Wedding Party
Wedding season has officially begun, so chances are you have a friend getting hitched. Crate & Barrel is stepping in to make the planning process a little bit easier with this registry party — it'll have consultants on hand to help with the process, and the shop will be offering food and drinks to crazed wedding-party members.
When: Sunday, June 3, from 9 to 11 a.m.
Where: Crate & Barrel, 4829 Massachusetts Avenue NW; 202-364-6100.

Rosedale Pool
We don't think anything signifies the start of summer in D.C. more so than the opening of the public pools, and this season we have a brand new addition to the mix. The Rosedale Community Center officially opened their awesome new watering hole (complete with water slide!) on Friday, which means you can start your fun in the sun, well, now.
When: Open now, see website for hours.
Where: Rosedale Community Center, 500 19th Street NE; no phone.
