Suri Cruise’s First Day Of School Style Earns High Marks

Fact: First day of school outfits are serious business. And, if you happen to be 6-year-old Suri Cruise, every teensy detail better be accounted for. Photogs were stationed outside her front door this morn, and the first grader was snapped on her way to Avenues School in NYC wearing what can only be described as the chicest classroom attire. With an adorable pink bow in her hair and a sassy cheetah-print backpack to shield the paps, Holmes's wee one is already our best-dressed nominee for the yearbook superlatives.

Her mama, meanwhile, took time off from last-minute NYFW preparations and accompanied her daughter for the big day. Since the lenses were focused on the next Alexa Chung, we didn't get a proper peek at Katie's look — a serious bummer to say the least, esepcially since girlfriend's been hitting homeruns since being single.

While we're having trouble recalling our own first-day wares (pretty sure we went with overalls), Suri's ensemble will forever be remembered — we think she earned a gold star, for sure! (Radar)
