With DIYs, our philosophy is always that making them should never give you a splitting headache. For the most part, projects should be easy, fun, and instantly wearable. Nevertheless, when I saw our New York editor, Annie Georgia Greenberg, sporting a chic tassel necklace at work one day, I thought, "I want one, but that's way too easy to do for a video." And then I thought, "What are you talking about? The easier, the better!"
I took some interior's trim and tied the individual tassels onto a basic bead necklace. Five minutes later? A totally cute, swinging accessory. And, if you want to go next-level and have an extra, say, two minutes, make some earrings to match.
